I’m into Jamal Tinkov’s latest single “Let’s Be Friends?!”

Which, if you’ve been following along, should come as no surprise — I’ve been into everything Tinkov has released lately — ‘Cruel Love’ and ‘Diana’ have been constant fixtures on my playlist for months.

‘Let’s Be Friends?!’ starts off as a pretty mellow guitar vocal affair but quickly turns up the energy and becomes a very sing-along-able (?!) pop-rock track. Thematically, it explores the idea of reconnecting with friends who have drifted. Very relatable and totally worth checking out.

Tinkov has a new album (When It Rains) coming soon, so there’s more to look forward to.

Mildred Baxter was waiting in England for her fiance to return from Harbour Breton, Newfoundland when she discovered he’d married someone else. She disguised herself in a jacket and trousers, crossed the Atlantic and confronted him in such a spectacular way that they still tell the story today.
