G’Wan B’y Podcast

Did someone say Newfoundland trivia? Sign me up! It’s kinda my thing…

I’m really enjoying the new podcast G’wan B’y by brothers Kevin and Darryl George. In each episode they attempt to stump each other (and ‘world-famous in Newfoundland’ celebrity guests) on a variety of Newfoundland facts and trivia. It’s definitely entertaining.

For me, aside from their fun delivery, it think it comes down to the trivia being a mix of things I get right, didn’t know and, if they will forgive me, occasionally dispute. That formula keeps me winning, learning and questioning in a way that makes me look forward to the next episode.

I think, if I actually had to play G’wan B’y trivia and keep score, it might be a sobering affair. I know a bit about this province but I definitely have (embarrassing) blind spots. Politics, I think would be my kryptonite.

I have more questions about Newfoundland than I have answers!

How would you do? Check out G’wan B’y and find out
