Hugh Scott: Christmas Day (feat. Gary O’Driscoll)
You might remember the song ‘Christmas Day’ from the Ennis Sisters album “Christmas on Ennis Road.” It was released in 1997 and has become a sort of classic! The track was written by Hugh Scott and Gary O'Driscoll. This year they released their version of it.
It’s a nice song that describes the joys of family gathering for Christmas and all the sights and sounds of home.
It’s worth checking out.
You can get the song on Legacy Music Works site.

Newfoundland and Labrador's musicians have been holding their own in both regards. I’ll be sharing local songs —both old and new— from now until Christmas in my 2023 NL Music Advent Calendar.
